The World Economic Forum's Corporate Gender Gap Report surveyed 600 companies in more than 20 countries across 16 industries and provides an extensive statistical picture of everything from countries with the largest percentage of women chief executives in their large companies (Finland at 13 percent) to industries with the lowest percentage of women in their workforce (mining at 18 percent). The survey quotes research that says closing the male-female employment gap would have huge economic implications for developed economies. More
